An application that called itself as official Siri for Android, presented on Android marketplace. Google that didn't know about this, immediately withdraw the fake apps.

The successful of Siri feature on iPhone apparently tempted an application developer to take advantage on its popularity. It is well known that since Apple introduced iPhone 4S and its innovative features, apps that are similar with Siri flood Android market.

One of them was Siri for Android that was made by a developer who called himself as Official Software. A few hours after the present of this fake Siri, the apps was drawn by Google as quoted from PCWorld.

Not only Siri for Android, all apps that were made by Official Software were also gone from the market. Google seemed has deleted the account of the developer.

This affirmative action that was done by Google was something correct. The software developer has abused Siri icon for the app that he made. He also used word 'official' so his fake app would be trusted as official app.

Siri itself initially would be released for BlackBerry and Android. However, it was cancelled because it has already bought by Apple in April 2010. It becomes exclusive feature in iPhone 4S now also one of many features that drawn customers' attention.
